Tune-up tip for perfect planing
Your benchtop planer takes a beating in normal use. Give it routine maintenance like the tip below for glass smooth results board after board.
To reduce snipe, set the infeed and outfeed extension tables so that the outer ends are 1/16″ (about the thickness of a penny) higher than the planer table.
