On-saw reference lines speed resetting
Recently, I had a project that involved making repetitive precise cuts at identical angles and dimensions. Interrupting the project for other cuts meant readjusting the saw and miter gauge to the previous, precise dimensions—a hassle, to say the least. To prevent future headaches, I marked the settings directly on the tablesaw top with an ultrafine felt marker. When the project was finished, the marks cleaned up easily with denatured alcohol.
